INDICATIONS

1,As an alternative therapy for GERD when oral therapy is not indicated.
2. For low-risk patients (gastroscopic Forrest class IIc-III) with acute gastric or duodenal ulcer bleeding for whom oral therapy is not indicated.

Contraindication

1. Known hypersensitivity to estramiprazole, other benzimidazoles, or any other component of this product is contraindicated.
2. The combination of this product with nelfinavir is prohibited, and the combination with atazanavir and saquinavir is not recommended.

Caution

1. When a patient is suspected of having gastric ulcer or already has gastric ulcer, if abnormal symptoms (such as obvious non-conscious weight loss, recurrent vomiting, difficulty in swallowing, vomiting blood or black stool) occur, the possibility of malignancy should be ruled out first. This is because treatment with this product can alleviate symptoms and delay the diagnosis.
2. The use of proton pump inhibitors may slightly increase the risk of intestinal infections (such as Salmonella and Campylobacter) (see [Pharmacology and Toxicology]).
3. The combination of this product with atazanavir is not recommended. If atazanavir must be used in combination with a proton pump inhibitor, atazanavir dosing should be increased to 400 mg (supplemented with ritonavir 100 mg), close clinical monitoring is recommended, and the dose of this product should not exceed 20 mg.
4.No dose adjustment is required in patients with mild to moderate renal impairment, and caution should be used in the treatment of patients with severe renal insufficiency due to the limited experience with this product ([see Pharmacokinetics]).
5.No dose adjustment is necessary in patients with mild to moderate hepatic impairment, and the daily dose should not exceed 20 mg in patients with severe hepatic impairment (see [Pharmacokinetics]).
6. Effects on the ability to drive and use machines: No effects have been observed in this regard.
