INDICATIONS
For the adjunctive treatment of symptoms of intellectual, emotional, physical and behavioral disorders in patients with mild brain damage caused by central nervous, metabolic or atherosclerosis. Such disorders can cause dizziness, poor concentration, disorientation, memory impairment, lack of initiative, emotional depression, poor socialization, and difficulties with daily living and self-care. Cerebrovascular disorders.
Adverse reactions
Nasal congestion, headache, transient nausea and gastric upset occur in 15-20% of patients, but can usually be avoided when taken with food. In most cases, no special treatment is needed and the side effects will disappear spontaneously. The following adverse reactions may also occur: vomiting, diarrhea, skin reactions, abnormal sensations, and worsening of angina. Also, arrhythmias and bradycardia, peripheral arterial vascular disorders (e.g. ischemia of the extremities) are occasionally seen. In isolated cases, changes in the connective tissue (fibrosis) can occur following administration of high doses (compared to the recommended dose) of this product over a prolonged period (several years). These changes can also involve the retroperitoneal cavity and be accompanied by symptoms such as back pain or lower urinary tract obstruction.
