INDICATIONS
Cefotaxime sodium for injection, this product is suitable for respiratory tract infections, soft tissue infections, urinary tract infections, sepsis, etc. caused by penicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (except methicillin-resistant) and sensitive gram-negative bacilli. Combined use with aminoglycoside antibiotics, but should be alert to the possibility of aggravating nephrotoxicity. This product should not be used in patients with bacterial meningitis.
Adverse reactions
The local pain of intramuscular injection is more common, and there may be lumps, tenderness and temperature increase. The incidence of thrombophlebitis after high-dose or prolonged intravenous infusion of cefotaxime can be as high as 20%.
