INDICATIONS
Meloxicam Tablets , Indication - Short-term symptomatic treatment when symptoms of osteoarthritis worsen. - Long-term symptomatic treatment of rheumatoid arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
- Patients with active peptic ulcer or patients with a history of recurrence of peptic ulcer;
- Severe hepatic insufficiency;
- Non-dialysis severe renal insufficiency;
- Gastrointestinal bleeding. Patients with cerebral hemorrhage or other hemorrhage;
- Severe uncontrolled heart failure.
DOSAGEAND ADMINISTRATION
Rheumatoid Arthritis: 15 mg/day, the dose may be reduced to 7.5 mg/day based on response to treatment.
Osteoarthritis: 7.5 mg/day, the dose can be increased to 15 mg/day if needed.
