INDICATIONS
It is indicated for the following moderate and severe infections caused by sensitive bacteria.
1. respiratory system infections: acute bronchitis, acute attacks of chronic bronchitis, diffuse bronchitis, bronchiectasis co-infection, pneumonia, tonsillitis (peri-tonsillar abscess).
2. Urinary system infections: pyelonephritis, complicated urinary tract infections, etc.
3. Reproductive system infections: acute prostatitis, acute paronychitis, uterine infections, uterine adnexitis, pelvic inflammatory disease (metronidazole can be used in combination with suspected anaerobic infections).
4. Skin and soft tissue infections: infectious impetigo, cellulitis, lymphadenitis, subcutaneous abscess, anal abscess, etc.
5. Intestinal infections: bacterial dysentery, infectious enteritis, Salmonella enteritis, typhoid and paratyphoid fever.
6. Various infections in patients with sepsis, granulocytopenia and immunocompromised.
7. Other infections: mastitis, trauma, burns and post-operative wound infections, abdominal infections (with metronidazole if necessary), cholecystitis, cholangitis, bone and joint infections, and infections of the five senses.
Adverse reactions
Rapid intravenous drip or push infusion may result in hypotension. It should be administered intravenously for not less than 60-90 minutes, depending on the dose. The use of quinolones (including levofloxacin) has been reported to cause crystalluria and tubuluria. Therefore, appropriate hydration should be maintained in patients treated with levofloxacin to prevent the formation of highly concentrated urine.
