Erythromycin lactobionate for injection, indications for
1. This product is used as an alternative medicine for the treatment of the following infections in patients allergic to penicillin: acute tonsillitis, acute pharyngitis, sinusitis caused by hemolytic streptococcus, streptococcus pneumoniae, etc.
2. Legionnaires' disease.
3. Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia.
4. Chlamydia pneumoniae pneumonia.
5. Urogenital infections caused by other Chlamydia and Mycoplasma.
6. Chlamydia trachomatis conjunctivitis.
7. Neisseria gonorrhoeae infection.
8. Oral infection caused by anaerobic bacteria.
9. Campylobacter jejuni enteritis.
10. pertussis
Adverse reactions
1. Gastrointestinal reactions are common, including diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, middle and upper abdominal pain, tongue pain, decreased appetite, etc. The incidence is related to the dose.
2. Hepatotoxicity is rare, and patients may have fatigue, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, fever, abnormal liver function, and occasionally jaundice.
3. When used in large doses (≥4g/day), especially in patients with liver and kidney diseases or elderly patients, it may cause hearing loss, which is mainly related to the high blood concentration (>12mg/L), and most of them can be recovered after drug withdrawal.
4. Allergic reactions are manifested as drug fever, rash, and eosinophilia, with an incidence of about 0.5% to 1%.
