INDICATIONS
Ampicillin and cloxacillin sodium capsules are suitable for infections caused by sensitive bacteria. Upper respiratory tract infections: tonsillitis, sinusitis, otitis media. Lower respiratory tract infection: acute and chronic bronchitis, lobar pneumonia and bronchitis, empyema, etc.
Adverse reactions
1. The adverse reactions of this product are similar to those of penicillin, and allergic reactions are more common. The most common reaction is skin rash, which mostly occurs 5 days after the drug, and is urticaria or maculopapular rash; interstitial nephritis can also occur; anaphylactic shock is rare, once it occurs, it must be rescued on the spot.
2. Granulocyte and thrombocytopenia are occasionally seen in patients treated with ampicillin sodium.
3. Antibiotic-associated enteritis is rare.
4. A small number of people have elevated serum transaminases and cholestatic jaundice.
