About product
1. Typhoid fever and other Salmonella infections: the drug of choice for typhoid fever and paratyphoid fever caused by sensitive strains of bacteria, gastroenteritis infected by Salmonella spp. is generally not suitable for the application of this product, such as serious illness, combined with sepsis may still be used; in adults with typhoid fever and paratyphoid salmonella infections, fluoroquinolones are preferred (pregnant women and children should not use this class of drugs).
2. Ampicillin-resistant Haemophilus influenzae type B meningitis or Streptococcus pneumoniae, Neisseria meningitidis meningitis, sensitive gram-negative bacillus meningitis in patients allergic to penicillin, this product can be used as one of the drugs of choice.
3. Brain abscess, especially otogenic, often mixed aerobic and anaerobic bacterial infections.
4. Severe anaerobic infections, such as infections caused by Bacteroides fragilis, especially for lesions involving the central nervous system, can be combined with aminoglycoside antibiotics to treat abdominal infections and pelvic infections, in order to control both aerobic and anaerobic bacterial infections.
5. no other low toxicity antibacterial drugs can be replaced when treating various serious infections caused by sensitive bacteria, such as sepsis and pulmonary infections caused by Haemophilus influenzae, Salmonella spp. and other gram-negative bacilli, often in combination with aminoglycosides.
6. rickettsial infection, can be used for the treatment of Q fever, Rocky Mountain spotted fever, endemic typhus, etc.
